IKUKO Iwamoto Solo Show
I am going to have a solo show at Onomachi α in Wakayama City, Japan this August.
The artist talk will be held on 4th August 13:00-14:00 (local time). The theme is… I feel I have lived in a space where my existence cannot be explained by classical physics. By using a kiln to transform the invisible waves of elementary particles into tangible forms, I strive to become an alchemist, exploring the continuous flow of the present moment.
Please visit the gallery if you have a plan to visit Japan this summer.

Chocolate Factory N16, 30th Open Studios
We're about to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our Chocolate Factory. I joined in 2017 and have been here for 7 years, but I still feel like the newest member of the Chocolate Factory studio because most of the artists, including my friends, have been working here since the studio opened 30 years ago.
We have some plans to include a café, workshops for kids, and furthermore, we will introduce artists who used to have studios here too.
Please pop in if you have time!

20 years of Cavaliero Finn
In 2004, Juliana Cavaliero and Debra Finn curated their first exhibition as Cavaliero Finn in a home in South London and they haven't looked back since. I met them in 2007 just after I graduated from RCA.
For this exhibition, Cavaliero Finn returns to its South London roots to celebrate its 20th birthday at Stockwell Studio. The exhibition will feature a wide range of artists who have shown with the gallery during the last 20 years including work by our current portfolio of artists and work from some of our earlier artists.
Running from 11th May and finishing on May 18th, 20 years of Cavaliero Finn exhibition is part of both the Dulwich Festival 2024, (which was the original launch platform for Cavaliero Finn back in 2004) and London Craft Week 2024.
The 2024 Second Half Art Exhibition
The Second Half Foundation was created and founded by Lady Jill Shaw Ruddock CBE.
The Second Half Foundation will be hosting our 12th Annual Second Half Art Exhibition: Celebrating Living Older Masters on Thursday March 21st 2024
Collect Art Fair
As Cavaliero Finn hits its 20th anniversary in 2024, it seems fitting that the contemporary gallery takes part in Collect at Somerset House at the end of February next year for the fair's 20th anniversary edition.
Founders Juliana Cavaliero and Debra Finn will present The Alchemy of Nature at the fair featuring work by 16 artists including ceramicists Annie Turner, Björk Haraldsdóttir, Frances Priest, Ikuko Iwamoto, Jaejun Lee, Matthew Chambers, Mimi Joung, Sarah Purvey and Soledad Christie; metal sculptors Cecilia Moore, Juliette Bigley and Simon Gaiger; textile artists, Dalia James and Katharine Swailes; wood sculptor Robert George and SHY Design Studio.
Solo Show
I am going to have my solo Exhibition in my home town Wakayama Japan.
My Large scaled Ceramic sculptures which I created before I came to London will be displayed there as well as my tableware. A portion of the sales will be donated to charity.

"À Table" Exhibition
The curation of À Table will bring together a collection of painters, ceramicists and textile artists. Based on the concept of the dining table bringing together family and friends, a space for conversation and storytelling. To be filled with food-inspired works that cast the balance between sophistication and humour. I hope to create a space that feels like home and makes you feel a little hungry.
Sophie Breitmeyer, 24 Powis Terrace, London W11 1JH
